Summer Season Finals

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and subsequent suspension of the summer domestic season, the BBA have made the below decision regarding finals.

If your team played in the 2nd semi-final on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and won that game, then that team will be recognised as the top team in that Division.

If your team was defeated in the 2nd semi-final your team will be recognised as the Runners up in their Division.

For the teams that played on Fridays, who did not get to play any finals, The BBA decision is that the team that was on top of the ladder in their division will be declared as winning the division and the team in 2nd place on the ladder will be the Runners up.

All trophies have been given to the clubs to distribute. Please contact Peter Allan 0419 394 783 / 5443 9370 to arrange collection.

Summer season around the corner!

The Bendigo Basketball Association Winter domestic season is heading into finals. Good luck to all teams competing – especially those in red! Keep up to date with the finals fixtures here and get along to show your support.

As one season ends, another is about to begin, the 2019/20 Summer Season entries are now open. Time for Team Red to assemble! Join us on Wednesday August 28 from 7pm in the Bendigo Stadium Green Room to begin working through team entries for the new season.

The change from Winter to Summer season means a shift in age groups. As such, some teams may be looking for additional players and some players may also be looking for a new team! If you or your child falls into either category, come along so you don’t miss out!

Finals Time!

It’s almost that time again! The 2018/19 Summer season is fast approaching finals, with less than two weeks of regular season games left to play!

To take part in finals, all players must play a minimum of 6 regular season games (in the one team). To check your eligibility click here.

Keep an eye on the fixture for your age group and division to see when you’re on court.  We all look forward to seeing Team Red well represented in the post season, good luck to all players, coaches and supporters! Go Beavers!

Summer Season entries

The 2018 Winter season is fast approaching the pointy end! Good luck to all teams over the next few weeks of regular season as we head towards the finals!

Entries are also now open for the 2018/19 Summer season! Enter your team here. Age divisions will change at the start of the new season, click here to check what age group you are eligible for.

And don’t forget, Team Red is holding a Fundraising dinner on Tuesday 28th August from 6.30pm! Come along to the Bendigo Stadium Bistro to help celebrate 60 years of Beavers Basketball in the Bendigo domestic competition. RSVPs to admin@beaversbasketball.com.au by Tuesday 21st August.

Here comes Winter!

The 2017/18 Summer season is reaching its pinnacle and finals are just around the corner! Good luck to all teams participating in the post season, especially those in a Beavers uniform!

While the Summer season heads to a glorious crescendo, it’s also time to look ahead to the 2018 Winter season. Entries are now open, click here for more information and to enter! Entries close 4.30pm Tuesday April 3.

Game on!

Summer season is back! After a short pause over the Christmas/New Year holidays, the Bendigo Basketball Association 2017/18 Summer Domestic Season has returned!

Keep up to date with your team fixture here. And don’t forget, to keep an eye on player eligibility with finals beginning in mid-March. For the full rules and regulations of the BBA Domestic competition, including finals eligibility, click here.

The finals countdown

Finals are almost done and dusted for another season! Congratulations to all teams on a fantastic Summer competition, with Team Red featuring in many post season campaigns across various divisions and age groups!

As the weather turns and the blankets come out, don’t forget that the 2017 Winter season is just around the corner. Click here and follow the links to add your team for the new season, you have until Monday April 3 to do so! If you’re looking to join a team, or know someone who is, email us at play@beaversbasketball.com.au

A reminder also that all coaches, team managers and assistants need to register their details (including a current working with children card number and expiry) with the Beavers as soon as possible, no exceptions!  Click here to register.

If you do not yet have a Working with Children card, click here. It’s a very simple (and FREE) process for volunteers.

Finals fever

As the 2016 Winter competition comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate another fantastic season of domestic basketball!

And finally, BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Bendigo Braves who also enjoyed finals success taking out the SEABL National Championship with a stunning win over Mt Gambier. A number of Braves players also represent the Beavers Basketball Club at domestic level, and we are all extremely proud of their achievements! Well done boys!
