Let’s get it on!

A new season is upon us!

It’s time to wake from the chocolate coma of Easter and get back on court! Check out where and when your team is playing here. The first weeks of the new season are always an interesting ride. Good luck to all teams and players – new or old – we all look forward to seeing Team Red strutting their stuff at the Stadium!

As the weather cools, don’t forget to jump across to S2 Sports to order your hoodie, jacket or beanie to keep warm and show your support! Order online here…it’s the perfect way to stay warm while you cheer your team on over some chilly stadium nights!

The finals countdown

Finals are almost done and dusted for another season! Congratulations to all teams on a fantastic Summer competition, with Team Red featuring in many post season campaigns across various divisions and age groups!

As the weather turns and the blankets come out, don’t forget that the 2017 Winter season is just around the corner. Click here and follow the links to add your team for the new season, you have until Monday April 3 to do so! If you’re looking to join a team, or know someone who is, email us at play@beaversbasketball.com.au

A reminder also that all coaches, team managers and assistants need to register their details (including a current working with children card number and expiry) with the Beavers as soon as possible, no exceptions!  Click here to register.

If you do not yet have a Working with Children card, click here. It’s a very simple (and FREE) process for volunteers.

Enjoy your Easter break, enjoy the chocolate…and we look forward to seeing Team Red back on court for the Winter season!

Finals fever

As the 2016 Winter competition comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate another fantastic season of domestic basketball!

Once again, Team Red was well represented with a number of teams making finals. Many going on to Grand final appearances and victories! Click here to see how your team fared.

And finally, BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Bendigo Braves who also enjoyed finals success taking out the SEABL National Championship with a stunning win over Mt Gambier. A number of Braves players also represent the Beavers Basketball Club at domestic level, and we are all extremely proud of their achievements! Well done boys!

Winter 2016. Bring. It. On.

Easter is done and dusted, the weather has turned, and daylight savings are over for another year…A new domestic season approaches, and as the second school term begins, we all enjoy the anticipation of the battles to come!

Easter Holidays are here…which also means the end of the 2015/2016 Winter Domestic season!

The Beavers have again figured prominently in the finals with a number of teams making an impression, many teams going on to record Grand Final wins!

New Season Pow Wow

A new season is fast approaching! The Beavers will be holding a meeting from 7pm Wednesday, March 16 at Bendigo Stadium to discuss team entries and players for the upcoming season. Representatives from all Beavers teams are invited to attend.

Calling all coaches

The Bendigo Basketball Association 2016 Winter Season is fast approaching! We currently have a number of teams that are looking for coaches, if you’ve ever thought about getting involved in coaching at a Domestic level, email us at coach@beaversbasketball.com.au. Coaching is fun, extremely rewarding and a great way to have a positive impact on junior players!
