Bendigo Braves Winter School Holiday Camp registrations are now open!

The camp will focus on the fundamental skills of basketball with the opportunity for kids to learn from the best athletes in Bendigo.

Future Stars Development Clinics

Do you have a child currently playing in the u10 or u12 competitions? Are you coaching in these divisions and looking to develop your skills? Do you love free stuff?!

Then this is for you…

Starting 2pm Sunday April 15, 2022 and ending shortly before Junior Braves Tryouts (which start July 17), Bendigo Director of Coaching Joe Hurst, along with current Junior Braves u12 coaches will be delivering a series of fundamentals clinics. 

This is the perfect opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills! It also offers a chance to get in front of Junior Braves coaching staff before the tryouts.

Coaches are also encouraged to attend to assist and support the project. Coaches who attend will gain valuable teaching skills, get exposure to current coaching trends, as well as a breakdown on how to teach basic fundamentals and movements.

u12 Skills Days

Registrations are now open for the Basketball Victoria Country under 12s Skills Days! Click here for more information and to register.

Held on Saturday & Sunday, July 20 & 21 at a number of stadiums across the state, skills days offer a fantastic opportunity for players born in 2008 & 2009 to receive high level coaching and skills development.

Participants will also receive an official skills days T-shirt, basketball and drink bottle.

Players born in 2008 are also eligible for selection to attend the Echuca Jamboree in September. In total, 120 boys and 120 girls will be selected from the 9 skills days venues to attend Jamboree – one for the first steps on the Basketball Victoria Country pathway.

U12 Skills Days

The Basketball Victoria Country under 12 skills days are approaching fast! 

The U12 skills days are for players of all abilities and standards and are a great opportunity for junior athletes to receive coaching to take their skills to the next level.

Each participant will receive an official skills day T-shirt, drink bottle and participation certificate. Athletes registered before July 17 will also be eligible for selection to represent Country Victoria at the BVC Jamboree in Echuca in September.

The Bendigo skills days will be held on Saturday July 21 (Boys) and Sunday July 22 (Girls).

It’s Kendle time!

Looking for a way to burn off the Easter chocolate and hot cross buns? Join Jeremy Kendle at Bendigo Stadium for an action packed school holiday camp!

3 hour ‘skills and drills’ sessions will be held at 8.30am and 12.00pm on April 9 to 11 ($30 per session), with elite training sessions at 8.30am and 12.30pm on Thursday April 12 ($40 per session). The sessions are open to boys and girls aged 6 to 17.

Plus, every camp registration will receive a FREE ticket to the Bendigo Braves first home game on Saturday April 21.

Skills Days are coming!

Early bird registrations are now open for the 2018 under 14 Skills Days! A great day of basketball skills and game play for players of all abilities, born in 2005 & 2006.

The Bendigo skills days will be held over two days at Bendigo Stadium.

Boys – Saturday March 24

Girls – Sunday March 25

Players attending the skills days are also considered for selection into the Basketball Victoria Country Regional Academy, one of the first steps on a pathway that could lead to much bigger things!

Term 3 registrations are now open for Vicinity Centre Aussie Hoops at Bendigo Stadium. Click here to register!

This a great opportunity for future basketball champions to make friends, learn new skills and have fun!

Online registration is now available for all players born in 2006 & 2007. Head over to the Basketball Victoria Country website for more information, or click here to register. Early bird registration is only $99. Registration after July 10 will be $120.

The Bendigo skills days with be held on Saturday 22 July (boys) and Sunday 23 July (girls). Skills days are open to players of all abilities and standards and offer a fantastic opportunity for athletes to gain experience in an elite coaching environment – It’s also a fun day of basketball skills and game play, a great day out for anyone looking to improve their game!
